How quickly the time flies. In what feels like a blink of an eye June and July has come and gone. I don't know how that happened, but I do remember making a deal with myself to blog more. That was in May. So now I'm playing a little catch-up. I hope you don't mind.
So back in May, my calligraphy teacher Maybelle returned to Sydney (from San Francisco) to teach her advanced modern calligraphy class at The School. I fell in love with the beautiful art of calligraphy when Maybelle first introduced me to ink and quill back in October (see that post here). So needless to say, I was sitting front row centre in this second class, eager to learn more from the Queen Bee of all things written. This time I learned how to hand-mix different coloured inks, picked-up a few new calligraphy tricks and explored some creative application / styling ideas. Thank you Maybelle, and Megan Morton for hosting.
I hope you enjoy my photos from another very memorable creative day with Maybelle. x
