What better way to start the New Year than opening a mystery envelope stuffed full of New Years cheer?! And that's exactly what I did all thanks to the paper-loving Rin Dawson from Papered Thoughts blog. Rin started a crafty Letter Exchange project called "&& A Happy New Year", you can read more about on her blog here, or better yet, look it up on Instagram under #aahnyproject. I was thrilled to be paired-up with Kelly from Little Red Moose blog! She's a fellow paper-loving, Instagramming, happy-mail-crafting creative gal, except she's doing it all in Perth, Australia. Part 1 of this 2-part Letter Exchange project was all about "New Years Eve in an Envelope" and it had to be posted well before the clock sticked midnight, to guarantee its arrival in time for New Years Eve. I had a lot of fun crafting together my envelope filled with golden cheer for Kelly, and looks like she did too. She blew me away with not just an envelope full, but a whole box full of lovely hand-crafted goodies – I loved them all! Now we're busy crafting part 2 – due to meet the postman next week. I love happy mail!
Here's to the bright new year, and a fond farewell to the old. Here's to the things yet to come, and the memories that we hold.
